Archaeologist Adolf Schulten is mentioned in Elisabeth’s blog. Schulten was born in 1870 in Elberfeld, Germany. Schulten spent a great deal of time excavating in Spain, notably discovering the location of the lost city of Tartessos, which he posited as a possible source of the Atlantis myth. Schulten is thought to have spent time in Ibiza in the 1930s. He died in 1960.
