Superstar DJ Pete Tong was drawn into the mystery after agreeing to meet with Elisabeth Perl at the International Music Summit in Ibiza. When Elisabeth failed to turn up, he returned to the DJ booth to start his set, only to find missing a USB stick containing the only copies of three of his latest remixes, replaced by a mysterious silver artefact and a silver scroll with the
legend “Come to The White Island, before it’s too late.” Despite an
international appeal, the tracks have yet to be recovered.

Pete Tong is likely the world’s most famous DJ, and UK Dance Music’s most important voice. Tong first DJed in Ibiza in 1986, and in the same year, was responsible for putting together the UK’s first house music compilation. In 1991, Tong joined BBC Radio 1, and his weekly show has signaled the start of the weekend for global clubbers ever since. This summer saw the launch of his new Friday night regular, “
Wonderland”, at superclub Eden in San Antonio, Ibiza.
